Can’t make it to YMCA Mill Hollow for camper drop-off or pick-up? That’s okay! We’ve got you covered. We run bus routes at the beginning and end of each week of camp. Drop-off and pick-up are located at Millcreek Elementary.

BOLD & GOLD – CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL PARK ⛰️

BOLD & GOLD Backpacking Trips develop the next generation of leaders as participants grow closer to nature, their peers, and themselves. As they backpack and day trip through the awe-inspiring Capitol Reef National Park and its surrounding forests, participants will experience and overcome challenge that helps them build strength, skills, and confidence for when they return to everyday life. This adventure will give participants the opportunity to make connections and memories that will last an entire lifetime. This trip comprises day and overnight backpacking hikes, allowing participants and staff to build a trip that perfectly fits the group and the available water sources in the park.

BOLD & GOLD – PACK ‘N’ PADDLE AT FLAMING GORGE NATIONAL RECREATION AREA ⛰️

BOLD & GOLD– get ready to paddle! Teen participants will have a blast on this beautiful canoe trip to Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area! Participants will arrive to camp Sunday evening, have a canoe orientation near Mill Hollow Monday morning (previous canoe experience is recommended), then embark on a camping trip along the river Monday afternoon through Friday morning.

Explore the beauty of the Uinta Mountains on this scenic backpacking trip of a lifetime as you hike through the iconic “notch” of Notch Mountain. This winding trail offers the perfect opportunity to introduce your participant to experiencing nature in awe-inspiring remote settings. There are multiple forks along the route, allowing the participants and staff to handcraft a trip that perfectly fits the group, exploring the area’s pristine lakes or summiting Bald Mountain!

This isn’t your usual BOLD & GOLD trip! Yes, with our amazing counselors your camper will experience 4 nights camping in the beautiful Uintas and enjoying making new friends and eating delicious camp food. However, we are inviting our friends from Inspired Summit– professional rock-climbing guides to add in 3 days of climbing on natural rockfaces and learning the ropes (literally). This trip is perfect for both new climbers and experienced climbers ready to take their skills to the next level!

Our pack and paddle trip is an introductory excursion meant for those campers who love water and the joys of camping with new friends! Join your Mill Hollow counselors to enjoy a few days honing your water skills at camp then putting them to practice with a 3 day, 2 night pack and paddle camping trip to Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area!

Our Introduction to Backpacking program focuses on giving our campers the skills to backpack while in the front country at YMCA Mill Hollow on Sunday and Monday, while taking on a 3-day, 2-night beginner level backpacking trip Tuesday through Thursday. No equipment is required – we will provide the gear, and your camper will provide a thirst for adventure!

Ages 13-17

This unique camp program are for campers who are too old for traditional camp but not so interested in a leadership program or excursions . . . so we present to you– TEEN CAMP! Teens from the ages of 13-17 who register for this unique week will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional camp with a twist. The typical program offerings will still be available with the same amazing staff on site. However, campers during teen week will get to build their own activity schedules with options not typically available to traditional camp (such as more complicated crafts, longer hikes, overnight camping, more sports– the possibilities are endless)!

Ages 8-14

Traditional Camp provides an opportunity for campers to participate in the wide range of activities offered at YMCA Mill Hollow! 2026’s activity rotation includes archery, outdoor cooking, team sports, ninja school, wood work, low ropes course, water-based programs like canoeing, and so much more! We love traditional camp because it offers the best “all around” camping experience! This is the kind of experience summer camp was made for!

WHAT IS TIERED PRICING?

We believe every child should have the chance to experience camp and that finances should never be a barrier. YMCA Mill Hollow offers three pricing tiers to make camp accessible for all families. Please choose the highest tier your family can comfortably afford; this helps us support more campers. Your camper’s experience is the same no matter the tier, and pricing selections are confidential.

TIER A – $835.00

Reflects the true cost of camp, including program quality, staffing, meals, and maintenance. Choosing Tier A helps sustain Mill Hollow for future campers.

TIER B – $785.00

A partially subsidized rate that covers most of the cost of camp.

TIER C – $735.00

A subsidized rate supported by community donations and YMCA fundraising efforts.
